Sewer Lateral Services
Video Camera Inspections
A video camera is used to visually inspect the interiors of a Sewer Lateral. We utilize this technology to determine the condition of sewer lines and household connection drainpipes, whether it’s for a sale of a property or just for peace of mind. Pipeline can Camera your Sewer Lateral Line with our Ridgid SeeSnake.
We follow municipal guidelines/ordinances, PA PHCC and NASSCO guidelines, and offer reasonable/competitive pricing.

Sewer Lateral Smoke Testing
This testing goes hand in hand with the video camera inspection. Non-toxic smoke is blown into the Lateral Line and if smoke begins to rise above the ground surface, this usually indicates breaks in the pipe.
This process usually takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Sewer Lateral Dye Testing
This testing goes hand in hand with Video Camera Inspection and Smoke Testing. A dye tablet is flushed down the toilet and at the same time the manhole lid at the street is uncovered. While the tablet is being flushed, someone is at the manhole confirming that the dye is draining to the main.

Full-Service Drain Cleaning
Jet Cleanings:
Water Jet Cleaning is a more extensive type of cleaning. It's almost like a power washer that is made for sewers. The jet machine uses water and sometimes degreasing agents (depending on what’s causing the issue). This is used to clean/clear the Sewer Lateral Line and is going to clean the actual pipe opposed to a snake cleaning that’s typically used for a quick blockage removal.
Snake/Cable Cleanings:
Snake/Cable Cleaning is a less extensive way of clearing a Lateral Line. A snake cleaning is used for a quick blockage removal.
