Repair and Replace Water Services: Residential

Repairs: If you have a leak in one section of the Water Service Line, there is a possibility we can repair the line. But depending on the material, there is a chance the Water Service won’t withstand a repair. Nonetheless, it is an option to try.

Replacements: When it comes to replacement, we can attempt to pull through the Water Service, which is a less invasive process. Instead of an open trench across the customer’s lawn, we will dig two pits (one inside the property and one at the curb stop). From there we will pull through the new Water Service. But depending on the materials of the Water Service, there is a chance pulling through won’t be an option. If that’s the case, then we will have to go back to the Traditional/Open Trench Method.

Repair and Replace Water Mains: Commercial

The difference between Water Service and Water Main usually is the diameter and length. The means of repairs/replacement is trenching.

Repairs: Determine/Locate the section of the Water Main that has an issue, dig down, remove old Water Main and install new section of Water Main.

Replacements: Open Trench from point A to point B, remove old Water Main and install new Water Main.
