Pipeline Excavation completed a water service replacement project after a customer had a leak in their existing water service line. Instead of opening a large trench across the front of the property, the team pulled through a new water service line.

This project spotlight shows the site conditions, underground water service access, replacement process, and field photos documented during the job. The work helped replace the leaking service line while reducing the amount of surface disruption on the property.

Water service replacement may be needed when an underground line is leaking, damaged, outdated, or no longer performing reliably. For this project, the Pipeline Excavation team replaced the affected water service line while avoiding the need for a large open trench across the front yard.
