Pipeline Excavation completed a Holmes PA sewer lateral replacement project using 4 inch pipe bursting and a 2 way cleanout installation. This project spotlight highlights the job site conditions, underground pipe replacement work, cleanout access improvements, and field photos documented during the job.

Pipe bursting can be an effective solution when a damaged sewer lateral needs replacement with less disruption than a full traditional trench. For this Holmes project, the Pipeline Excavation team replaced the affected 4 inch sewer lateral by pipe bursting and installed a 2 way cleanout to improve access for future inspection, cleaning, and service.
