Pipeline Excavation completed a street sewer lateral spot repair project after a lateral was found broken in the street. The team used hydro excavation to dig down safely, access the damaged pipe, and complete the repair.

Spot repair may be needed when one section of a sewer lateral is damaged but the full line does not require replacement. In this case, the broken section was located in the street, so controlled access and careful excavation were important parts of the project.
